One of the best ways to travel to Toledo is on the fast train that connects the Atocha station from Madrid to Toledo, in just 30 minutes.
Once in Toledo, your guide will wait for you at the train station with a sign with your name, from there you can take a panoramic view of Toledo by taxi, and then start the walking tour of the historic center .
If you prefer to go to the historic center on your own, the guide will wait for you at the Plaza de Zocodover.
To get to the plaza , you can take a taxi or bus at the station, which will leave you in the same square, or even if you are not in a hurry, you can walk from the station to the escalators of the Palacio de Congresos, which also end in the Plaza de Zocodover, on a walk 20 minutes approximately.
If you come to Toledo in your own car, you can drive on both the A-42 motorway and the AP-41 toll motorway, and you will be in Toledo in just over an hour , depending on the traffic.
Once in Toledo, you can either leave the car in one of the car parks that you will see indicated within the historic center, such as the < strong>Palacio de Congresos or the Corralillo de San Miguel, next to the Alcázar, or in the free parking on the esplanade near the train station, and from there taking a walk of about 10 minutes, you will reach the escalators that They take you to the Plaza de Zocodover.
If any of you have reduced mobility, we recommend you park in the Santa Úrsula car park, near the Cathedral, although you have to wander around a bit to get there.
We do not recommend looking for free parking inside the historic center, since it is a restricted parking area for residents.
If you are staying in Madrid and want to get to know Toledo in an exclusive way, we offer you the possibility of doing so traveling comfortably in a Mercedes-Benz minivan or car, with a private driver, who will pick you up at the door of your hotel or accommodation.
Once in Toledo (one hour away), your guide will wait for you in the tourism office, to first do the panoramic tour around Toledo, stopping at the Valle viewpoint, and then begin the guided walking tour.
After the visit, and depending on the option you choose, we will take you back to the hotel in Madrid, or if you prefer, you will have 3 hours of free time to eat, walk on your own, or go shopping shop in Toledo, before returning to Madrid.
